If you've ever had to organize a school or family reunion you'll know how much hassle it can be. Reunite is a handy tool for planning and coordinating family, high school, college, company and even military reunions.
Reunite is an easy-to-use application that organizes information including an address book, integrated mail merge, budget planner, mailing labels and even photo name badges. The interface isn't exactly tailored for Macs but it's straightforward and functional. The main page gives you a clear overview of all the major features such as Address Book, Tasks, File Tools and many more.
Most of Reunite's functions are self explanatory. So for example, Directory is where you enter contact information, Budget allows you to plan finances for the big event and Print Central is where you can print out everything from letters to name tags. The ability to insert photos into each persons profile makes Reunite a lot of fun and I like the idea that you can enter quotes and anecdotes from each person to create a Memory Book.
The Budget aspect of Reunite is also particularly well thought-out, itemizing costs in detail thus allowing you to set ticket prices to cover the cost of the event if necessary although I can't imagine a family reunion where you'd want to do that!
Reunite is an excellent application for anyone that regularly organizes reunions or wants to simply inject some fun into the whole process.
